It is an astonishing fact that we find a mention about the life of Sri Ramakrishna in Bhrigu Samhita which was written thousands of years ago. With this single example, we can fairly understand the divine foresight of Sage Bhrigu who is the author of these old books. We can also understand that our knowledge is very superficial compared to the research done in the field of Astrology in those days. Let us look at the chart of Lord Sri Ramakrishna, an incarnation of God, as explained in Bhrigu Samhita.
What do we find about this chart in Bhrigu Samhita?
dharmasthānādhipē tungē dharmastē tungakhēcarē
guruṇā dṛṣṭisaṁyōgē lagnēśē dharmasaṁsthitē
kēndrasthānagatē saumyē gurau caivatu kōṇabhē

If the native is born when the ninth lord is exalted, the aspect of Jupiter is on the exalted planet in ninth house, lagna lord is in the religious house, Mercury is in kendra position with Jupiter in kona position and in the fixed rasi, then he will be a Master to a new tradition. He will be an embodiment of Dharma and will perform good deeds. He will reside at a temple and will have many disciples. There will be signs of a Mahapurush (great personality) on his body or will be called as a Mahapurush by the world. He is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and will be praised by everyone. This will definitely happen without any doubt.
Now the Sanskrit words of the verse are explained, one by one.
darmasthānādhipē tungē = Ninth lord Venus is exalted in Pisces.
dharmastē tungakhēcarē = Lagna Lord Saturn is exalted in ninth house.
guruṇā dṛṣṭisaṁyōgē lagnēśē dharmasaṁsthitē = Jupiter aspects the lagna lord Saturn in ninth house.
kēndrasthānagatē saumyē = Mercury is in lagna.
gurau caivatu kōṇabhē = Jupiter is in fifth house from lagna.
sthiralagnē yadājanma = The fixed Rasi Aquarius is the lagna.
Sage Bhrigu was able to forecast the life of Ramakrishna with these six yogas. Now a days, even though Astrologers give several pages of predictions, they are not accurate. The reason is that Astrology has become a business. Now a days, Astrologers are unable to grasp the subject of Astrology because they are not living like sages of the past.
Leaving that aside, we can comprehend that the predictions from Bhrigu Samhita happened very precisely in the life of Sri Ramakrishna. He became the Master of a new tradition by demonstrating in his life that all religions lead to the same goal by following Karma, Bhakti, Jnana and Raja Yogas. The words ‘He is the embodiment of Dharma and who always performed good deeds’, describe the life of Sri Ramakrishna very aptly. We find the same description in a hymn composed by Swami Vivekananda on Sri Ramakrishna which goes on as ‘sthāpakāyaca dharmasya sarvadharmasvarūpiṇē’. He spent most of his life in the Kali temple at Dakshineswar. Swami Vivekananda and many others are his disciples. He declared that he was an incarnation of Vishnu to many of his close disciples. He appeared as a four armed Vishnu to his close disciple Balaram Bose and others. The experiences of many other disciples also confirm the same. He is worshipped as an incarnation of God by many people all over the world.
This is one of the many wonders of Nadi Astrology. This is just an example of a method followed in Bhrigu Samhita. We can clearly understand that life of a person can be predicted with just a few Yogas in his chart without even considering the Amsa charts, different calculations, time periods and transits. It is regretful that now a days Astrologers are not doing satisfactory research in this ancient method of Astrology.
