We find people criticizing Astrology at many places. Some of them argue that Ayurveda and Homeopathy too, are not sciences but cult medicines. I feel like smiling at them. Without knowing what nuclear science is, if I argue that it is not a science at all, I would only expose my ignorance. It is the same for any other science. Astrology is not a science, I agree. Don’t come to an immediate conclusion. This is not a science, but a super science. It contains many secrets that are beyond today’s science. It may take another 100 years for the scientific community to understand the secrets of astrology.
Do you know the reason why? Around 10,000 BC, a wonderful research was done in our country on the subject of Astrology. Nadi leaf books are the best literature born out of research done in astrology. Some hundreds of families had churned this science to discover its depth. The depths of any science can be seen, if studied with diligence. However, if we criticize sciences like Astrology because of our half baked knowledge of western culture, it looks very disgraceful.
Once, in a train journey I came across a Canadian, who told me that Indians readily criticize their own culture and arts. Actually, our ancient sciences do not require certification by the scientific community. Science is still in its infancy. Can you believe that we don’t know about our own body? Science cannot say with certainty why we sleep. Brain secrets are still unknown. The self curing ability of liver is a mystery to science. From simple cold to AIDS, nothing is permanently curable. Time and again, there appear any number of mysterious fevers that defy medical treatment. Science can explain neither death nor after life.
What do we call something which can predict the moles and birth-marks of a person merely from three of his details viz., - birth date, time and place? Science or not? Difficult to believe? This had actually happened. Five years ago, I had a German friend who was a mathematics professor and also studied astrology in depth.
I had analyzed his chart and emailed to him. Within two days, he and his wife replied me through email praising our Astrology. What did I actually write in my analysis? Apart from predicting his life details, I mentioned that his left thigh should have honey colored birthmarks. As it was exactly true, they were bewildered and shot many questions in return such as ‘How could you predict this minute detail from such a long distance? How could this be possible?’
I felt very happy, not because whatever was predicted by me had come true, but because the science of Astrology was proved to be correct again!
Astrology is not a science, but a super science. What do you say?
