Samudrika Shastra is a branch of astrology which enables us to read a person’s life based on the arrangement of one’s bodily parts and palmistry is a specialized subject of this science. The shape and alignment of fingers tells you about the native’s psychology and lines on the palm reveal many more details of his life. It is easier to learn palmistry than astrology. That is because it does not involve complex analysis or intricate study of planetary significations. All information shows up in a straightforward display on the hand. In a way, every man moves around carrying in his own hand, his horoscope.
For instance, one of the principles in palmistry states that if the ring finger is longer than the index finger, the native will be very active and wealthy. A recently published statistical study by a foreign university also proved this to be true.
The researchers have concluded the above fact simply based on statistical data, however, the reasoning behind this principle did not occur to them. Palmistry explains this concept elaborately. The ring finger represents Sun and the index finger represents Jupiter. If the ring finger is longer, the native tends to be enthusiastic, aggressive in nature, creative, and fearless. The focus is more on doing work rather than consuming food. Hence, such people quickly prosper in their lives, earning money and fame. In this manner, various personality traits are reflected in their respective body parts. Using deductive and inductive logic, one can predict the native’s mind, habits, nature and his future, by performing a study as above. These predictions are accurate to a large extent.
I recently visited my friend who had a heart attack. During our conversation, I was surprised to hear him say, “Ten years ago, upon reading my palm, you had predicted that I would have a life threat related to heart, around the age of forty and warned me to be cautious about my habits, diet and regimen. Just as you predicted, it has come true.”
I then remembered that I had seen his hand in the past and told him so.
“What is your age, now?” I asked.
“Forty-three,” he replied.
I checked his life-line again and noticed that it was broken right around the forty year mark. But, there was another line that started right beside it and traveled upward, which is why he could survive a heart attack.
Isn’t this proof enough to say that medical palmistry is a wonderful science? While doctors these days prescribe all kinds of tests and rule out any existence of disease and finally give up saying that it is only a case of psychosis, even when the patient is desperately complaining of pain, how marvelous is a science that can predict heart attack ten years ahead?
It is said that the famous palmist Cheiro while once traveling by a train, observed the palm-lines of his fellow passengers. To his surprise, he noticed that all of them had their life-lines cut, which matched exactly with their current ages. He immediately got off at the next station. After travelling a short distance, the train met with an accident and all the passengers in that compartment died. I cannot vouch for the truth of this story. Cheiro thus saved his life. Cheiro, although a European, lived in Kasi (a town in Northern India) for a few years and learned palmistry from the scholars of Kasi. Very few people know that he worshipped the Hastanguli mantra.
One can learn such astonishing facts through palmistry, which is a part of our ancient wisdom. The blueprint of our future is in our own hands, but it is very rare to find people who can decode and understand this science and act accordingly to change their destiny. What can we do about it? There is an old saying - ‘Our intellect is shaped by our actions.’
